CAPTION: The city’s 2008 Street Overlay Program is currently underway and work was evident this (Tuesday) morning on Dorney Drive. According to Hugh Musselman, street superintendent, about two miles and 2,500 tons of asphalt will coat about 20 city blocks before this year’s project is complete. Musselman said that the cost of asphalt has gone up about 25 percent from last year, due to the rising cost of oil. The city budgeted $200,000 for the project.
